Susan Germain is a nationally recognized historian and preservationist
in the carousel field for over twenty years. Her experience represents
work on carousels produced by every American and European manufacturer.
She has restored hundreds of figures for private collectors, as well as
twelve operating carousels to date. Her work includes carefully
documenting and matching original colors, patterns and styles.
Aside from her ongoing work saving existing carousels, she also has
designed restoration projects for historic movie theaters, diners and
other specialty commercial buildings. Susan lives in Syracuse, NY.
